Bio & Contact

Brian was the former Head of Marketing for MTVAsia and a digital marketing specialist.

These days, Brian travels the world looking for taste makers & their various niche communities to observe their content creation habits.  He is also always presenting these insights at numerous marketing conferences in the Asia Pacific region and conducting innovation workshops in between his consulting gigs.

Brian has worked with/ for small & big brands ranging from MTV, 10Tacles, Sydus, ColorZip, Tiger Beer, Mobile365, Motorola, Philips, MSN, Yahoo, Nokia, Palm, StarTV, Universal Music to name a few, on various new  marketing initiatives & strategy.

He also a curator for a digital marketing blog, b-side and is a part of a collective of strategists, consultants, creatives called pool

Hi folks! Since you were kind enough to run a bit on your blog about my last attempt at a trend map I thought you may be interested in my latest one! This is a map showing innovations from the year 1900 to 2050 - yes that’s right, 47 years that haven’t happened yet! The innovation timeline was something that I originally produced as an illustration for my 2007 +Ten trends: Predictions and Provocations report published by nowandnext.com but I’ve since tweaked it a bit and added a few extra ideas to the period 2007-2050. The timeline is offered in the same spirit as the 2007 trend map - it’s open source so people are encouraged to adapt or play around with it or use it in anyway they like.
